PARTY BOOKS

St. Jude families are encouraged to host “party books” in addition to attending our regular fundraisers. What is a party book? Imagine throwing a party but selling tickets to attend. The money raised from ticket sales is then donated to the school. Typically, several families will work together to underwrite the event and select a theme and venue, such as a restaurant or home. There have been adults-only events including wine tastings, poker nights, Cinco de Mayo and Mardi Gras parties, even a Murder Mystery Gala. Children’s events and family luaus are another option. Party books are a unique and fun way to meet other families at our school, build community, and fundraise at the same time.
