Curriculum

The goal of the primary grade teachers of St. Jude the Apostle School is to provide a rigorous, well-rounded, competitive curriculum that forms each child in the image of Jesus.

Each grade has regular access to laptops, tablets, interactive whiteboards, document cameras, and web-based learning activities for both the classroom and the home.

While students of every grade level strive to follow the school wide Student Learning Expectations, the primary grades also share the same classroom rules and behavior system, providing consistency and familiarity among the three grades.

The students participate in Music, Spanish, and Physical Education classes in order to provide a balanced education for each child. The School Library is visited weekly, and the students (grades one and above) are motivated to be avid readers through the use of the Accelerate Reader program.

The primary grade teachers meet weekly to share professional development ideas, discuss concerns, and plan for future lessons and activities.

St. Jude primary grade students develop a solid foundation of skills and knowledge that prepares them for successful academic and spiritual lives.
