Art – Wednesday Afterschool Enrichment
The Art Afterschool Enrichment program offers students a creative experience that’s different from the regular school day, providing opportunities to explore new art forms, materials, and techniques.
Through in-depth, multi-step projects that span several weeks, students experiment with materials such as weaving, sewing, wire sculpture, papier-mâché, and woodworking, as well as enjoy time in maker space stations for loose-parts play and free building.
Students create unique works of art using sculpting materials, paint, and mixed media—building skills in manipulation, design, and creative expression.
This hands-on program encourages imagination, persistence, and problem-solving while helping students develop confidence as young makers and artists.
