FINANCIAL AID PROCESS
St. Jude the Apostle does offer tuition financial assistance. The school is blessed to have a dedicated endowment fund established by a parishioner that allows us to annually withdraw funds for this specific purpose. The amount that can be withdrawn varies from year to year but the funds are given as grants to those who qualify for assistance.
Tuition grants for the 24-25 school year ·will be determined in May 2024. All families currently receiving grants need to reapply each school year.
The program used for tuition (Smart Tuition) offer an initial evaluation of a family’s needs. The forms are available on the following link (which is also on the school’s website):
https://www.smartaidforparents.com
School code is: 02147
Smart Aid parent phone number: 800-360-8027
After a family completes and submits the required forms from Smart Tuition, a report is sent to the school. A family is able to include specific details on the confidential forms that will help with determining financial need i.e. unexplained or significant financial challenges. Final decisions are determined by the pastor, principal and parish business manager. The process is confidential.
Smart Tuition offers a variety of different tuition payment options and a family is always welcome to contact the principal to work out any special needs or arrangements.
Please contact the main office at 818-889-9483 for questions or assistance with the process,
We look forward to working together to provide a Catholic education at St. Jude the Apostle School.
